This proposed mixed-use project is located near Atlanta, GA. The existing site is an old feed mill with a few warehouses.
Adaptive reuse is all about preserving original aesthetic and program as best you can. We were tasked with rethinking an existing feed mill and how it could become office with some retail components. We also worked in the few existing warehouses with a couple new construction buildings to create the overall composition. This project contains office, retail, mercantile, restaurant, and entertainment programs.
It was important to maintain the height of the silos and feed mill to preserve views from the surrounding areas. We kept the architectural industrial in nature yet inviting. The goal is to create a new community and a diverse experience.
