Moreno Street Mixed-Use

Buford, GA


Our firm was awarded an urban infill mixed-use project in Buford, GA. The site is a block off of the thriving Main Street so our design drew from the existing aesthetic of s small town downtown corridor.

By using almost all brick along with some cast stone detailing we were able to create a set of buildings that blended with the timeless nature. We were also able to take a utility easement that splits the site and turn it in an amenity for the retail spaces by creating a street level patio between the two buildings.

These design decisions helped make the design review process with the city go smoothly and we were able to get approval after one meeting.

The project includes 12 for-sale flats over street level retail. Each unit is roughly 1,250 SF with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

Both buildings sit over basement parking where a private elevator core takes you up to the retail and residential levels.



This project is currently beginning construction in February 2025 and is set to complete construction by the middle of 2026.
