The Forum Cocktail Co.

Atlanta, GA
Interior Architecture & Design

When we were approached about designing a cocktail bar and speakeasy at one of Atlanta’s most popular adaptive reuse projects we of course said yes!

Our clients had a vision for the 3,000 SF build-out to include not only a cocktail bar and restaurant, but also a hidden speakeasy that would offer a totally different experience.

The main bar area takes on an ancient design theme inspired by the Roman Forum built a couple thousand years ago. It invites patrons into the bar and shows off it’s ancient vibes with the classic finishes, antique lighting, and the bar itself with its focus being the backbar shelving and groin-vaulted ceiling.

The speakeasy, called the Midnight Room, takes on a much more dynamic and colorful theme very similar to a mid-century chic design. It is in here that patrons stumble upon the smaller bar for a surprise experience that is surely going to spark plenty of conversation.

The Forum Cocktail Co. recently opened at the Works adaptive reuse project in the Upper Westside of Atlanta.
