These duplexes were donated to Historic Savannah Foundation by the Chatham / Savannah Land Bank Authority before being purchased by our client through the City of Savannah’s Dream Maker Home Buyer Assistance Program.

We were chosen to assist in the preservation and rehabilitation of the properties at 712 - 718 W. 39th Street in Savannah’s Cuyler - Brownville Historic District resulting in the addition of much needed affordable housing.

The design process included coordination with Historic Savannah Foundation, approvals from Savannah’s Historic District Board of Review, and variances from the city’s Zoning Board of Appeals.

We started drawing in 2021, building in 2022, and will occupy in early 2024. It takes time to do the right thing.
